Type

URL type. This could be one of the following:

Directory URL An URL which contains one or more Document URLs.
Document URL An URL which represents one item, such as an html document, a graphical image, or a file from your hard drive.
Host The portion of the URL that specifies the Internet domain name of the server you wish to reach. The host is always preceded by two slashes. For example, //www.marketscape.com is a host.
Protocol The portion of the URL that specifies the protocol (communication method) to be used to access the requested information. The protocol is always followed by a colon. For example, http: is a protocol.

Title

Usually associated with document URLs, the title is a text string entered by the Web site creator to identify a page.

Status

Indicates the result of the retrieval attempt, if any.

Status Value Meaning
Success Item successfully retrieved.
Access forbidden Retrieval attempted on a directory that you do not have access to.
Bad request The server could not understand the request due to malformed syntax. This refers to the syntax of URLs found in the HTML which WebCD Packager is passing to the server.
Bad gateway The server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, received an invalid response from the upstream server it accessed in attempting to fulfill the request.
Internal Server Error Indicates an error at the server from which the file was being retrieved. This error may be remedied by filling in the HTTP User Agent field in the Browser Options dialog. Access the Browser Options by selecting Options from the View menu.
Moved permanently Web page is no longer there.
Moved temporarily Usually indicates a redirection. Change the retrieval properties for the URL to Retrieve and look at the properties again. The "Redirected To" information should now be displayed in the dialog.
No error Retrieval not attempted.
Not found The URL is invalid.
Problem accessing file File not found or invalid file name.
Problem connecting to host Problem with network connection. (Suggestion: Check your network connection.)
Problem resolving host name Invalid host name.
Service not implemented The server does not support the functionality required to fulfill the request. This is the appropriate response when the server does not recognize the request method and is not capable of supporting it for any resource.
Service unavailable The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition.
Too many redirections In accordance with the http specification, WebCD Packager stops tracing a redirection after six (6) jumps. This prevents infinite searching in the case that a Webmaster has inadvertently created a circular redirection.
Unauthorized request Retrieval attempted on a password protected URL without entering appropriate authentication name and password in the Connection Options, accessed by selecting Options from the Build menu and clicking the Connection tab.
Unknown error Issued if no other error status applies.
